International Student Tuition Fees
Tuition fees for international students are different at every school and vary depending upon the program they want to study. The actual cost that students pay depends on their program of study, grants and assistance they may receive.
International students can save considerably by studying in Canada. In a survey compiled by the Association of Commonwealth Universities, Canada offered the lowest tuition rates for foreign students compared to the UK, Australia, New Zealand & the US.

Tuition fees throughout Canada vary considerably depending on the Province, the university and the degree. The overall cost of a year’s study also inevitably depends on the student’s own needs and ‘Lifestyle’. Standard expenses for an academic year would include textbooks, laboratory facilities/equipment and student activity fees, as well as accommodation costs, food, health care, etc.

Cost of living in Canada
The threshold for the Cost of Living Financial Requirement has been set at $ 20,635 by the Canadian Government for International Students.
The Living cost in Canada for international students is around CAD $ 18000 to CAD $20000 per annum on average. When it comes to the cost of living in Canada for Indian students, it translates to nearly INR 12 to 15 Lakhs per annum on average based on current exchange rate as of September 2024.
However, the Cost of Living varies from person to person based on their lifestyle & have to adjust accordingly.
LIVING EXPENSES
Canada offers a very low cost of living – especially compared to the United States or the United Kingdom.
The approximate annual living expenses are about $10,000 for a single student, which includes accommodation as well as other daily expenses. An additional $4,000 will be required for a spouse and an additional $3,000 for each dependent, to cover 12 months of living expenses.
However, the expenses are diverse for different people depending on the lifestyles and this is just a rough idea.
Accommodation costs vary depending on the location and type of accommodation one prefers such as Home stay, dormitory or renting.

The average monthly cost of living in Canada for International students is between CAD $600 and $800 for groceries and other daily expenses, excluding accommodation.
